About The Position

Established in 1949, Shepherd Oil Company operates more than 60 trucks throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas with supply from terminals throughout the Midwest. Our Drivers are an integral part of Shepherd Oil Company. This position will have 2 days off each week, which will be during the week. For example, days off will be Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday. This is a local haul position, meaning drivers are home every night.

Requirements

Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
Must be at least 23 years of age.
Must be able to drive 13 and/or 18 speed trucks.
No minimum driving experience required.

Responsibilities

Transport fuel using a Class A CDL vehicle.
Operate late model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks with 13 and 18 speeds.
Utilize Elogs through Samsara.
Adhere to safety protocols, including those related to cameras (forward facing, in cab, side view).
