About The Position

Shepherd Oil Company, established in 1949, is seeking a Class A CDL Fuel Transport Driver for their Oklahoma City, OK location. The company operates over 60 trucks across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, with supply from Midwest terminals. Drivers are considered an integral part of the company. This role involves local hauls, ensuring drivers are home every night. The position offers a structured work week with two days off during the week (e.g., Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday).

Requirements

Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
Must be at least 23 years of age.
Must be able to drive 13 and/or 18 speed trucks.
No minimum driving experience required.

Responsibilities

Transport fuel locally, returning home every night.
Operate late model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks with 13 and 18 speeds.
Utilize Elogs through Samsara.
Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of forward-facing, in-cab, and side-view cameras.
