About The Position

Shepherd Oil Company is hiring a Class A CDL Fuel Transport Driver based at its truck yard in Park City, Kansas. The company operates more than 60 trucks throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, with fuel supplied from terminals throughout the Midwest. Drivers perform local hauls and are home every night. The position works at least five days per week, with two days off during the week. Drivers use late-model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks with 13- and 18-speed transmissions. Electronic logs are managed through Samsara. Overtime is expected and paid at time-and-a-half. Paid training is provided at the full rate of pay.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Must be at least 23 years of age.
Ability to drive 13- and/or 18-speed trucks.
No minimum driving experience required.

Responsibilities

Transport fuel on local hauls.
Drive 13- and/or 18-speed trucks.
Work at least five days per week, with two weekdays off.
Use Samsara electronic logs.
