CDL Class A Night Shift Fuel Transport Driver
About The Position
M.A. Wolf Trucking, part of family-owned E.H. Wolf & Sons, is hiring safety-focused CDL Class A drivers for local night-shift fuel transport routes based out of Slinger, Wisconsin. Drivers start at 4:30 PM and haul gasoline and diesel in a Class A tractor-trailer, returning home after each shift. Typical schedules are Monday–Friday, Sunday–Thursday, or Tuesday–Saturday. Most weeks are 65–70 hours, with overtime paid after 40 hours. The company provides reliable, well-maintained equipment and support from an in-house maintenance team. Starting pay is $31 per hour. Benefits include monthly safety bonuses, a 100% company 401(k) match up to 5% starting on day one, health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO after 60 days (up to three weeks in the first year), six paid holidays, reimbursement for safety boots and prescription safety glasses, and company-issued uniforms. Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Clean MVR and strong safety record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, handle fuel hoses, and climb in and out of equipment.
- Ability to work safely outdoors during nighttime hours and in Wisconsin weather.
Nice To Haves
- Tanker (N) and Hazmat (H) endorsements, or combined X endorsement; company assistance may be available for qualified drivers to obtain endorsements.
- TWIC card.
- At least one year of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Fuel transport, tanker truck, or bulk liquid hauling experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer fuel transport on local night-shift routes out of Slinger, Wisconsin.
- Load gasoline and diesel at fuel terminals.
- Deliver bulk fuel to gas stations, farms, construction companies, municipalities, and commercial customers.
- Complete an average of 3–6 fuel loads per shift.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery paperwork.
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat safety regulations at every stop.
- Represent Wolf with safe, dependable, and professional service.
