About The Position
This position is for a Class A CDL Driver based out of Ogden, UT. The role will support facilities in Ogden, UT, Caldwell, ID, and Henderson, NV, based on business needs. Some routes may involve overnights. The primary responsibilities include the safe operation of the company's tractor/trailer fleet, efficient product distribution as dispatched, performing required DOT pre and post-trip inspections, completing DVIRs, assisting with loading and unloading of steel and other supplies, and providing professional customer service.
Requirements
- Class A CDL Required
- Must also have current medical card
- Meet all NIM and DOT employment qualifications
- Must be able to follow all safety guidelines
- Able to meet the requirements necessary to perform the job
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of the company’s tractor/trailer fleet
- Distribute product as dispatched in most efficient manner
- Perform the required DOT pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections
- Complete DVIR for pre and post trips and driving
- Assist in loading and unloading of steel and other supplies
- Provide customer service in professional manner
