About The Position

Roloff Construction is seeking versatile, dependable Class A CDL Drivers to operate a variety of trucks and transport construction materials and equipment to job sites. This role supports construction crews and includes driving in heavy traffic and tight spaces, securing and lifting loads, hauling loose materials, and assisting with vehicle inspections and maintenance. Drivers should be safety-minded, flexible, and ready to work independently or as part of a team. The position generally involves about 50 hours per week and some Saturdays.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL and a driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements.
Ability to drive manual transmissions.
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to maintain required DOT documentation.
Ability to work a full-time schedule, generally about 50 hours per week, with some Saturdays.
Safety-first mindset, flexibility, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience hauling construction materials and equipment.
Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and rollers.
Hazmat endorsement.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of trucks, including lowboy, flatbed, side-dump, dump, hook, hydrovac, and boom trucks.
Deliver, pick up, and relocate construction materials and equipment to job sites, maneuvering safely in heavy traffic and tight spaces.
Load, unload, and properly secure heavy equipment for transport, and complete hauling permits when needed.
Operate a truck-mounted crane and properly rig materials for lifts.
Haul and dump loose materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, and crushed concrete.
Perform pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections, and help the shop with maintenance and repairs as needed.
Provide service to crews and keep job sites clean, safe, and secure.
