About The Position
AWH Logistics, LLC is seeking experienced Class A delivery drivers for a home daily/weekends off driving career. We work exclusively with Lanter Delivery Systems and offer long-term W2 positions with benefits and health insurance. This is a Monday-Friday night position with year-round work and a set start time once assigned to a route. This is a touch freight position involving unattended commercial deliveries of skidded product, with driver unload in dedicated delivery areas.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Three years verifiable commercial driving experience (step-van, box truck/sprinter, equivalent size vehicle, etc.) in the past 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must have valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must have valid Class A CDL.
- Will need to pass a road test.
- Must consent to a MVR, criminal background check and drug screen (AWH Logistics, LLC must receive a negative result).
- FMCSA Clearinghouse – (CDL Holders) Must consent to annual/limited queries and hold a Not Prohibited status.
- Tractor Trailer experience: 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Safely climb into the truck/trailer with/without the lift gate.
- Safely lift 50 lbs as needed.
- Driver unload in dedicated delivery areas.
