Class A CDL Drivers Needed
About The Position
Baily International is a broad-line food distributor serving the metro Atlanta area and surrounding states. The Class A CDL Driver delivers food products on a mix of local routes and regional routes lasting two to three days. Drivers start early, between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and work Monday through Saturday. Hotel and gas cards are provided for two-day regional routes. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading freight, customer interaction at delivery locations, vehicle inspections, and compliance with motor carrier regulations. The employer describes earning potential as an average starting range of $80,000–$90,000 or more, with the potential to earn up to $100,000 per year through a bonus program.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to perform physical labor and handle early morning start times between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload food products efficiently and accurately.
- Serve as the primary company representative at delivery drop-off points and communicate professionally with customers.
- Operate equipment responsibly and follow federal and state motor carrier regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Immediately report vehicle defects, damage, accidents, or traffic violations.
- Safely lift and move heavy freight weighing 50 to 75 pounds or more.
