About The Position
This dedicated intermodal driving position hauls container freight on consistent, year-round routes, with daily runs to Chicago rail yards and daily home time. Freight is 100% no-touch. Drivers use modern equipment and must be comfortable with slip seating and operating safely in rail yard environments. Potential shift opportunities may be available after six months. Hazmat endorsement reimbursement is available.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Must obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 90 days.
- Comfort with slip seating.
- Strong safety record and dependable attendance.
- Ability to operate safely in rail yard environments.
- No smoking in company equipment.
