About The Position
The CDL Class A Driver operates a dedicated route from Richmond, Virginia, to Martinsburg, West Virginia, Tuesday through Friday, with a 9:00 AM start and four 10-hour shifts. The driver loads clean linen carts onto trucks and trailers, delivers them to the Martinsburg plant, and returns with soiled linen. The driver must operate safely and within legal speed limits at all times. Candidates must be able to drive nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience; new CDL graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- Be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Able to drive nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Load clean linen carts onto trucks and trailers.
- Transport clean linen from Richmond to the Martinsburg, West Virginia, plant and return with soiled linen.
- Operate the vehicle safely and within legal speed limits at all times.
