About The Position
This position involves the safe operation of the company's tractor/trailer fleet, distributing products as dispatched in the most efficient manner. The driver will perform required DOT pre and post-trip truck and trailer inspections, complete DVIRs, and assist in loading and unloading steel and other supplies. Providing professional customer service is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- Class A CDL - Must have a medical card and meet all Norfolk Iron & Metal and DOT employment qualifications
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Safety - Must be able to follow all safety guidelines
- Physical Demand - Able to meet the requirements necessary to perform the job
- Have a great work ethic
