About The Position
Rainier Wood Recyclers, a division of Girard Resources & Recycling, LLC, is seeking a full-time Class A CDL Lowboy Operator driver for their Covington location. This is a year-round, full-time position with 40-60 hours per week. The company emphasizes zero non-productive time, paying key to key. A new hire bonus of $4,000 is offered, paid in increments after 90 days of incident-free employment. All applicants must pass a test drive and a DOT pre-employment drug test.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as securing equipment, tarping loads, climbing in and on trucks.
- Must keep an organized and professional appearance at all times.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Be self-motivated and reliable to meet performance standards.
- 3 years of CDL driving experience with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Operate safely and efficiently a variety of trucks including transfer trailers, side dumps, and truck & trailers.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and fill out log before operating vehicle.
- Secure equipment.
- Tarp loads.
