About The Position

This is a regional over-the-road route where you will be running a dedicated territory delivering helium cylinders to established, repeat customers. The product is clean and non-flammable, and the route is familiar each week. You will depart Monday morning and be on the road Monday through Thursday/Friday, with 3 to 4 overnights per week, returning home on Friday. The territory is divided into 4 zones, with one zone covered per week, allowing you to stay in the same general area all week. You will stay in a hotel, not a sleeper.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training within the past 4 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, read highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver helium compressed gas cylinders to scheduled, repeat customers
• Load and unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain DOT compliance
• Build relationships with regular customers and help manage their inventory needs
