About The Position

ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is hiring a Class A CDL Delivery Truck Driver. The driver is responsible for safely completing deliveries from the branch to job sites, maintaining a safe work zone, and ensuring materials are handled and delivered according to schedule and job directives. Drivers are home every night, and the position does not require over-the-road travel. Duties may also include warehouse work and loading or unloading materials.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug screens.

• Boom truck experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Inspect the truck load before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine material placement and unload materials.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse, as assigned.
