About The Position

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to transport and deliver products to customers in the Las Cruces–El Paso coverage area. Drivers safely navigate highways and city streets, back into tight docks, unload products, and provide reliable, professional customer service. The role involves 100% touch freight and using a two-wheeler, ramp, or hand unloading to place products in designated storage areas. The schedule is four days per week, Monday through Saturday, with a 2:00 a.m.–4:00 a.m. start window; occasionally, the schedule may be five to six days per week. The position is based in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The stated expected base rate is $32.62–$36.25 per hour, with overtime compensation potentially available. Requirements

Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid Class A CDL issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Have at least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or at least three months of commercial driving experience in food and/or beverage delivery.
Be able to read and communicate in English, hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
Meet the physical requirements of repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or lowering 20 to 80+ pounds; working in inclement weather with frequent stops; and working in temperatures as low as 0 degrees.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
Unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, and place them in designated storage areas.
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
Provide professional service to enhance the customer experience.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
