About The Position

Hartung Glass Industries is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver who isn’t afraid to get hands-on. This position involves both local and occasional overnight routes, with an early morning start. The role requires loading, offloading, and delivering glass to various job sites, ensuring every delivery is handled safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires strength and endurance, as the driver will be handling and loading glass materials. The driver will also be responsible for securing and checking loads, performing routine vehicle maintenance, communicating professionally with customers, maintaining thorough vehicle and driver logs, and completing all necessary paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license
• Physical ability to lift, handle, and load glass materials
• DOT medical card
• Ability to pass a road test and DOT UA test
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Reliable attendance and team player attitude
• Experience in safe driving practices and vehicle inspection procedures
• Ability to provide stellar customer service and resolve issues as needed
• Great attendance and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Load, offload, and deliver glass to various job sites.
• Secure and check loads.
• Perform routine maintenance on your vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Ensure timely deliveries and handle any backorders or returns.
• Maintain thorough vehicle logs, driver logs, and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
