About The Position
The Class A/B CDL Driver is responsible for the delivery of fertilizer, chemical, and grain, with a high value placed on service and customer retention. This role involves both seasonal agricultural hauling and year-round responsibilities to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Agriculture and/or farming experience
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
- Ability to follow established processes
- Basic knowledge of computers and basic software
- Ability to manage time effectively
- High school degree or equivalent
- Class A CDL license
Responsibilities
- Deliver fertilizer/chemical to customers and other branches during farming season
- Grain hauling when not in farming season
- Maintain timely, accurate records on sales, inventories, and logbooks
- Always maintain safety standards
- Maintain daily communications with dispatch
- Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR
- All other general duties as needed
