Requirements

Valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence.
Clean Driver’s Abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility with work schedule as start and end times may vary.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1 year's experience on each type of equipment is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Miller Waste Systems safety protocols and be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Operate a MWS Rear Loader Truck safely and efficiently.
Have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the City of Saint John and the surrounding towns and counties.
Ensure timely collection of waste and recyclable materials.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ensure customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules.
Use a tablet computer to update routes and a radio communication system to speak with dispatch.
Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, properly maintained, and compliant with all safety standards.
