Requirements

Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Passing CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission (10, 13 and 18 speed)
Experience in an industrial environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) Certification
H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space and Fall Protection certification
Mechanical experience

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hot oilers
Proficient in driving manual transmissions on commercial vehicles
Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment
Ensure safety for all team members and property
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
Provide guidance to Laborers as required
Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
