About The Position
The driver is responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of freight within the Hinton and Jasper area. The shift is Tuesday to Saturday, with a start time of 5 am on weekdays and 5 AM on Saturday. Average working hours are 9 to 10 hours a day, with some flexibility required to meet customers' requirements. Responsibilities include pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. This position offers the benefit of being home every night.
Requirements
- Class 1 license
- 1 year of experience
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly at various customers
- Operate GPS and communication devices
- Ability to maneuver a 48ft tailgate trailer into tight areas in Jasper to complete deliveries
- Must be willing to relocate to Hinton
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, 2 work-related references
