Division: British Columbia Position: Class 1 Local Delivery Driver (Delta) Schedule: 4 X 10 | Floater | 3:30am - 6:00am start time Position Overview The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Delta.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Proven ability of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 80 lbs
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification
Excellent customer service skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed
Professional demeanor under stressful situations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Availability for weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Correctly offloading products
Recording delivery information
Accepting payment for goods when required
Ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects
Operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Starting rate of $35.94, with potential to go to a top rate of $41.97 per hour after completing 12 months
