About The Position

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 1 Line Haul Owner Operator for a non-designated run based out of Kamloops. This role involves covering any Manitoulin linehaul within the Western Canadian network. The position requires a 5-day shift schedule, including some weekends, and demands flexibility. Responsibilities include pre and post-trip equipment checks and performing dock duties as required, all while operating within the standards and requirements outlined in the contract.

Requirements

• Class 1 license
• 1 year of experience
• Good understanding of the Hours of Service regulations
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related supervisor references
• Must have current ICBC insurance

Nice To Haves

• Deck experience is an asset
• Forklift ticket an asset
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset

Responsibilities

• Cover any Manitoulin linehaul in the Western Canadian network
