About The Position

As an Electrician at Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa, you will help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. The role maintains wiring, domestic hot and cold water systems, controls, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and lighting. It also includes inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers and assisting with general maintenance duties.

Requirements

Class 2 operating engineer license.
Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must exhibit a positive attitude at all times.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

Schedule and complete equipment preventive maintenance.
Operate and maintain the low-pressure boiler for the hot water system.
Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water, kitchen steam, and air conditioning systems.
Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs to hotel property and equipment.
Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
Repair and maintain the swimming pool and pool equipment.
Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
Receive direction for house calls via radio.
Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Understand Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Understand OSHA rules and regulations.
