About The Position
Park Paving Ltd. is seeking an experienced Class 1 Equipment Hauler to join their Transportation Division. This role is crucial for managing high work volumes during the road construction season. The company has been a locally owned and operated road construction contractor in Edmonton and the surrounding area for over 50 years. They offer a competitive wage and benefits package.
Requirements
- Possess a valid clean class 1 drivers license
- Reliable transportation to work
- Able to work long hours Monday - Saturday including Overtime
- Driving record free of major infractions
- Must pass a medical/fitness exam
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with small hand tools is an asset
- Experience as an Equipment Hauler
Responsibilities
- Completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle
- Continuously monitor all fluid levels, vehicle operation and handling, and report and defects to your supervisor
- Operating a tractor-trailer combo to load and transport heavy equipment from jobsite-to-jobsite
- Adhere to the Motor Vehicle Transport Act 1987 Commercial Vehicle Driver’s Hours of Service Regulation
- Complete accurate digital administrative documentation such as timesheets, safety forms, and log books
- Competent at loading and unloading mobile heavy equipment, proper load securement
