About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food and restaurant supplies to customers using a commercial vehicle (straight truck). This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Customer Service: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) frequently.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
2+ years of experience
High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle (straight truck) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and established delivery routes.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in proper working order.
Product Delivery: Deliver food products to customers accurately and on time, ensuring product integrity and maintaining proper temperature control.
Load and unload product safely and efficiently, utilizing a two-wheeled dolly to maneuver heavy items.
Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including invoices and driver logs.
