About The Position

Bison Transport is seeking a Class 1/AZ Driver for a unique cross-border schedule. This position involves being on the road for 7 consecutive days, followed by 7 days off. The role primarily operates within Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, the Northeast U.S., and the Midwest U.S., covering an average of 6,000 to 7,000 miles per month. Drivers will be required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario year-round and must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekend departures. Additional work may be available upon request, and regional work will be required. The driver must be capable of hauling all commodities, including meat and alcohol.

Requirements

• 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid Class 1/AZ Licence.
• Eligible to drive in the U.S.
• Eligible for a FAST card.
• Able to work weekends.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Values safety.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Drive for 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off.
• Operate primarily in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Northeast U.S., and Midwest U.S.
• Drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
• Be available for flexible scheduling, including weekend departures.
