About The Position

The Clarity PPM Scheduler serves as the central point of contact for schedules within the Clarity PPM system. In this role, the Scheduler is responsible for maintaining accurate project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and proactively managing any deviations to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities include overseeing customer-facing program schedules, integrating with various other schedules, and ensuring compliance with best practices and company policies to maintain data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in business intelligence, product operations, program management, portfolio governance, operations, and/or platform and tooling support in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on work with Broadcom Clarity PPM.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Broadcom Clarity PPM capabilities specifically in schedule creation and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess schedule impacts and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and time-management abilities to track multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation to support project cost and control.
  • Understanding standard project and portfolio management processes, including initiation/strategy, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure.
  • Proficiency with standard productivity tools (for example, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio) and familiarity with enterprise workflow and business intelligence tools.
  • All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Experience partnering with technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or implementation partners preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned program and project schedules weekly.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager or Project Manager to update the status of assigned program and project schedules.
  • Create up-dates to the schedule for approved changes to the scope of work of the program or project.
  • Report and communicate regularly to stakeholders, translating complex project data and identifying potential risks that could affect the schedule and performance of the program or project.
  • Develop project schedule templates that facilitate effective scheduling and promote application best practices for improved efficiency.

  • Work closely with the Program Manager and Project Manager to develop a schedule that aligns with the defined scope of work for the customer-facing program or internal project.
  • Coordinate between all functional resource areas to ensure resources are properly identified and accounted for as part of the program or project schedule.
  • Integrate schedule with other functional group schedules for visibility and improved management of the program or project.
  • Analyze schedule and integrated schedules for critical paths and constraints.
  • Analyze performance of tasks and resources across schedules for continuous improvement identification.
  • Keep up to date with Clarity PPM application best practices, new features, and community lessons learned.
