Claims Trainee
About The Position
AssuranceAmerica is seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join their dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a company that is a leader in the minimum limits auto insurance space. The company operates with a small, entrepreneurial style and values associates who have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude. The Claims Adjuster Trainee will undergo a comprehensive training program, including self-study, classroom instruction, and on-the-job training, to prepare for a promotion to Adjuster Level 1. A key part of the training involves completing coursework to pass the Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty examination. The trainee will be responsible for investigating, reserving, negotiating, and settling property and casualty claims under supervision, ensuring timely and fair resolution in accordance with policy contracts and presented damages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an Intake, Fast Track, Express Adjuster, or other comparable claims-related role with an insurance carrier.
- Ability to pass State of Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty licensing exam.

Responsibilities
- Complete required training courses with a successful score
- Obtain State of Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty license and maintain license through completion of state mandated Continuing Education.
- Provide quality service to all parties involved in assigned claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations into coverage, liability and damages for assigned claim in accordance with Claims Best Practices.
