Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims System Liaison to join our growing team in Carmel, IN! The Claim System Liaison is responsible for monitoring and maintaining claim systems functionality, as well as providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations of the Claims department.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Proven communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
Proven analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Exceptional telephone demeanor.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
1 – 3 years experience in a similar position.
Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or certification in a business-related discipline.

Responsibilities

Continually review systems for potential enhancements to increase functionality and efficiency.
Testing lead and coordinator for all claim system upgrades.
Maintain vendor and policy databases in claims system.
Maintain distribution lists for monthly members reports and claims acknowledgments.
Process FROI EDI errors for transmission to state.
Process incoming mail, including indexing and distributing.
Process new claim assignments.
Process recovery/reimbursement checks.
Field calls related to outstanding provider bills and escalate to adjuster when appropriate.
Assist with incoming phone calls.
Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files for agency and member lists.
Complete special projects as assigned by CSL Supervisor or Claims Leader.
Other job-related projects or assignments as delegated.
Pursues a course of personal, professional development.
