About The Position

At Gallagher Bassett, this role helps clients navigate complexity, support recovery, and achieve meaningful outcomes. The Claims Supervisor-Subrogation leads an auto subrogation claims team handling varied caseload sizes and complexities, promoting high-quality, efficient service and adherence to GB’s Best Practices. The supervisor oversees hiring and training, sets goals, manages workloads and performance, uses Gallagher technology to improve efficiency and service quality, and communicates proactively with clients, carriers, and brokers. The role also involves managing competing priorities, identifying coaching opportunities, and developing team members. The position is eligible for fully remote work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Minimum of 10 years of related claims experience.
Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are handled.
Knowledge of all team member-related functions.
Background in auto subrogation with supervisory experience.
Prior claims handling and leadership experience.

Bachelor’s degree.
Claims license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and encourage an auto subrogation claims team handling caseloads of varying sizes and complexities.
Guide the claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
Manage adjuster hiring and training and foster performance and continuous improvement.
Define team goals, motivate performance, and manage workloads to ensure efficiency.
Use Gallagher technology to enhance team efficiency and service quality.
Communicate professionally, positively, and proactively with clients, carriers, and brokers.
Manage competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities, and support team members’ development.
