As an Experienced Claims Specialist at GEICO, you’ll leverage your expertise to manage cases and contribute to your team’s success. You’ll be at the heart of our commitment to outstanding customer service. You’ll manage multiple steps impacting the claims life cycle, providing guidance, support, and solutions to policyholders during times of uncertainty. Requirements

  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
  • 3+ years of relevant customer service and/or transaction processing experience.
  • Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License (4-20) required.
  • High School Diploma required
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, while navigating through multiple business applications.
  • Computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 2+ years of Auto Liability Claims Experience.
  • College degree (2-4 year) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Claims Processing: Efficiently and accurately handle insurance claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Communicate professionally and empathetically with customers, addressing concerns and questions about their claims.
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations to determine the extent of coverage and assess any potential fraud.
