Our Kingsville Head Office Location is currently seeking a Claims Specialist to join our Finance team. The Claims Specialist is responsible for leading activities related to financial reporting and monitoring financial activities with the sales team.

Requirements

College degree required.
At least 2 years of related work experience required.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Aptitude for learning new software programs required.
Company confidentiality agreement will be required.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.

Nice To Haves

Experience in produce accounting department preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with Sales and Accounts Receivable to process PAS returns efficiently.
Create and manage carrier claims.
Collect, analyze and utilize date to identify opportunities to support Sales functions.
Identify process to improve the efficiencies between Accounts Receivable and Sales.
Compile, analyze and distribute summary information related to KPI’s.
Distribute sales orders to Sales team weekly, ensuring follow up.
Identify processes to improve cash flow.
Research new processes and develop procedures for claims department and work with all departments to create best practices
Create and manage rejections.
Other duties as assigned.
Special projects as assigned.
