About The Position

This position is responsible for resolving damage and injury claims caused by or incurred by insureds. The Claims Representative will handle all multi-line claims in an assigned territory to a proper conclusion. This role involves investigating, validating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims, as well as communicating with the public regarding procedures, problems, and coverages. The representative will also submit reserve recommendations, maintain claim files, follow departmental reporting procedures, report risk reviews to the Underwriting department, and prepare estimates on auto and property losses. Participation in training and continuing education courses is also required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
Obtain Adjuster's license in 6 months
Strong Verbal communication & listening skills
Effective negotiation skills
Effective conflict management skills
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
Possesses strong product knowledge
Ability to influence internal and/or external constituent
Possesses strong technical aptitude
Ability to work with mathematical operations related to daily tasks

Responsibilities
