About The Position
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as processing claims with specific detailed instructions to eligibility code, rate, coordination of benefits. You will be offered a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive team environment. Training is on the job for 2 weeks. Will need to be willing to cross train in all areas.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a typing test (please do not take typing test via phone).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass a required drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Basic data entry skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and scan up to 2,000 insurance claims and related documents daily.
- Enter claim data into client systems throughout the workday.
- Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment (removing staples, rubber bands, repairing torn documents, copying document types, and inserting patch sheets to separate claims).
- Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Cross train in all areas.
