Requirements
- High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)
- Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in claim operations or customer service.
- Develops knowledge of local, state, and federal insurance-related policies.
- Effective analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.
- Working knowledge of claim data processing systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Processes and organizes claim file information for basic claims for one or more lines.
- Handles moderately complex claims including claims with coverage questions or recovery potential.
- Assists in identifying opportunities to streamline claims procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
