Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in the insurance/legal profession dealing specifically with Professional Lines claims.
- In-depth understanding of policy language/coverage.
- Experience managing, evaluating, mediating, and negotiating E&O claims, including class actions.
- Ability to lead and drive defense strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of the U.S. legal system, civil litigation, and ADR proceedings.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to various claims presented under Financial and Professional Lines policies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Ability to multi-task.

- Excellent organization skills.
- Ensure client files are properly documented and compliant from an audit perspective.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience handling Cyber, lawyers and/or accountants professional liability claims is preferred.
- Juris Doctorate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Active management of E&O claims within the Professional Liability/Cyber Claims Group.
- Evaluate coverage.
- Draft coverage correspondence.
- Undertake claims investigations.
- Manage defense counsel and legal spend.
- Assess liability and financial exposure.
- Effectively negotiate cost effective, good faith claims resolutions.
