About The Position
Westcor's Claims Department Law wants applications from self-motivated, professional, intelligent students to become Summer interns to learn from us in a competitive legal environment. Ideal candidates have a planned trajectory that includes Law School and want to learn the aspects of claims in the title industry. Interns will be given tasks from administrative duties to directly assisting our attorneys with projects. This position is on-site in our Maitland, FL office. This position offers: Exposure to the title industry, exposure to the claims process and the ability to work with a diverse group of skilled attorneys. Westcor can provide a flexible work schedule that considers your obligations for course work. As you become more adept at the position you will gain more opportunity for greater responsibility within the role.
Requirements
- Current college student.
- Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from clients
- Monitoring calendars
- Schedule appointments
- Note-taking and filing for clients
- Develop cases and keep clients informed as well as other involved parties
