About The Position

Westcor's Claims Department Law is seeking self-motivated, professional, and intelligent students to become Summer interns. This internship offers an opportunity to learn in a competitive legal environment. Ideal candidates have a planned trajectory that includes Law School and a desire to understand the aspects of claims within the title industry. Interns will be assigned tasks ranging from administrative duties to directly assisting attorneys with projects. This position is on-site in our Maitland, FL office and offers exposure to the title industry, the claims process, and the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of skilled attorneys. Westcor can provide a flexible work schedule to accommodate coursework obligations. As interns develop proficiency, they will gain opportunities for increased responsibility.

Requirements

• Current college student
• Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from clients
• Monitoring calendars
• Scheduling appointments
• Note-taking and filing for clients
• Developing cases and keeping clients and other involved parties informed
