About The Position

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a high-growth claims management organization, applications are being accepted for an Auto Claims Handler to join their office in Dallas, TX on a hybrid schedule. This role is tailored for an ambitious claims professional with 3+ years of experience who is seeking a fast-paced environment where advancement is driven by performance and capability rather than traditional tenure. Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on auto claims handling experience, including property damage and total loss claims.
  • Active Texas (TX) Adjuster License is required.
  • Active U.S. work authorization.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-directed prioritization, and comfort leveraging operational metrics to guide decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional licensing in NY, CA, FL, or GA is considered a strong plus.
  • Exposure to subrogation.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior peers.
  • Background in startup and high-growth organizational settings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage auto claims end-to-end, maintaining oversight from initial notification of loss through final settlement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, providing clear, professional communication throughout the claims lifecycle.
  • Review documentation, verify policy coverage, and determine liability accurately.
  • Evaluate physical damage, analyze repair estimates, assess total loss valuations, and manage total loss and salvage processes.
  • Evaluate bodily injury claims and manage Personal Injury Protection (PIP) / Medical Payments (MedPay) files.
  • Establish appropriate reserve levels and settle claims within designated authority limits.
  • Detect potential indicators of fraud and escalate suspicious files to the appropriate channels.
  • Maintain complete, accurate claim files to ensure strict adherence to audit and compliance standards.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and contribute to continuous process improvement.
