About The Position
Aston Carter is looking to hire a Business Analyst in Omaha, NE! This position offers competitive pay with a top company in the area. The Business Analyst analyzes and documents business processes, data-flows and uses of information technology. They evaluate performance for opportunities to increase automation, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy. They measure performance of current processes by capturing metrics and comparing performance to benchmarks. They make recommendations to supervisor for changes to processes and technologies that will improve operating efficiency, quality and reliability of unit results. They document processes for analysis and models changes to processes and/or technologies. They document current business rules, procedures and proposed changes. They recommend new service level metrics and benchmarks based on implementation of proposed processes and technology improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, modeling, and reporting)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ways of working
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based platforms
