About The Position

Unified Group Services is seeking a full-time Claims Auditing Specialist to verify the payment accuracy of customers' group insurance claims before their scheduled billing dates. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on-site in our Anderson office
Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening

Nice To Haves

Some college education
Knowledge of or the ability to learn our PPOs, provider lists, and maintenance requirements (provider, group, and fee schedule)
Solid writing and phone communication skills with proper grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure

Responsibilities

Verify the payment accuracy of customers' group insurance claims before their scheduled billing dates.
Audit claims to verify payment information and address any errors or discrepancies.
Assist with auditing claims with over $10,000 in charges when needed.
Ensure total accuracy and properly release/reset claims before the billing day.
