About The Position

The Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters (CSU) Claims department seeks a claims analysts II-III to manage property and casualty claims and litigation files, assist in product development and provide underwriting support. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio with an anticipated start date for this role is August 2026. The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Nice To Haves

  • a law degree (optional)
  • five or more years of claims adjusting or claims supervision experience (preferred)
  • multi-line claims adjusting experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • provide account review, advice and assistance with manuscript forms to underwriting staff
  • provide file supervision, coverage analysis and guidance on property and casualty claims files
  • control and manage property and casualty litigation files
  • conduct product development, including legal and form research, and policy language development
  • assist and support Field Claims associates to claims file conclusion
  • support achievement of departmental goals and initiatives
  • communicate claims trends to the CSU Underwriting team
