About The Position

The Claims Analyst is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving property and casualty insurance claims efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. This role supports the Claims team by managing the end-to-end claims process — from intake through resolution — while ensuring documentation integrity and stakeholder communication at every stage. The ideal candidate will bring experience in insurance claims adjustment or a related insurance function and will be expected to operate with a high degree of accuracy, exercise sound judgment in coverage determinations, and manage a steady claims workload with minimal supervision.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated ability to evaluate complex claims information and reach sound conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in insurance claims adjustment or a related insurance role.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, regulated, or insurtech environment.
  • Familiarity with claims management systems, policy administration platforms, or related insurance technology tools.
  • Experience with property and casualty insurance products, lease guarantee products, or landlord/tenant claims.
  • Additional education, certification, or training in insurance, risk management, or a related field (e.g., CPCU, AIC, or similar).
  • Prior experience supporting legal or compliance processes related to claims.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage and appropriate settlement amounts.
  • Review insurance policies to accurately interpret coverage terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate claims settlements effectively, ensuring resolutions are fair, timely, and consistent with company standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise claim documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Process incoming claims, making necessary adjustments and recommendations based on findings.
  • Communicate professionally with landlords, tenants, internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties, addressing inquiries promptly and clearly.
  • Support legal processes including document preparation, analysis, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Manage workload proactively to meet productivity targets and turnaround time expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve claims workflows, documentation practices, or operational efficiency.
  • Perform other role-related responsibilities as assigned and aligned with business needs.
