About The Position

Axis Insurance Managers Inc. is seeking a Claims Account Administrator who is passionate about providing excellent service and making a positive impact. This role involves reporting new claims, liaising with insurers, managing claim details in Epic, and assisting with quality control. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at relationship building and time management.

Requirements

1-3 years' experience in a corporate administrative/claims role, consistently meeting internal core competencies
General Insurance Salesperson Level 1 license through the Insurance Council of British Columbia or equivalent license in the individual’s provinces as required
Insurance industry experience, considered an asset
Post Secondary Degree, considered an asset
Experience using Epic broker management system, considered an asset

Nice To Haves

CAIB, CIP, CRM or other insurance designations, an asset
Post Secondary Degree, considered an asset
Experience using EPIC broker management system, considered an asset

Responsibilities

Reporting new claims to insurers
Following up with insurers on closing notices
Entering new claims into Epic
Attaching updates of claims into Epic
Liaising regularly with insurers to request claim statements and log details into Epic
Running monthly reports to track loss ratios with various insurers
Notifying the Claims Manager of any large losses or circumstances that could lead to a large loss
Assisting with internal quality control reviews
Other duties, as required
