State Farm is committed to being good neighbors and helping people. The company is evolving to become a Next Gen Good Neighbor, utilizing technology to enhance customer experiences and strengthen human connections. This role focuses on supporting policyholders by leveraging technology and human expertise. The Auto Injury segment handles bodily injury, uninsured/underinsured claims, and property damage claims involving injuries. Claims are tiered based on complexity and severity, ranging from non-attorney represented bodily injuries to litigation claims. This is a field role involving in-person assignments such as securing documentation, attending legal appearances, and then transitioning to a claim handler for 3rd party liability claims, which includes evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims. The position empowers claim handlers to take ownership of the customer experience, demonstrate learning agility, apply knowledge, and lead with a customer-centric approach. Claims employees may encounter difficult and emotional investigations, including traumatic injury and loss of life, and may need to interact with parties expressing strong emotions. Handling may involve lawsuits, demands, and working with attorneys.
