The Liability Claim Representative II handles property damage claims and low to mid-range bodily injury claims. This role requires experience with handling Auto Liability claims, including Property Damage and Bodily Injury claims, and familiarity with coverage/contracts. The position is customer-focused, self-motivated, and experience with Commercial Auto claims is a plus. The role involves investigating and adjusting claims, directing independent adjusters and experts, managing litigation, and ensuring claims are handled appropriately according to the applicable jurisdiction. The representative will also interact with management, legal counsel, customers, insurance carriers, and third-party claimants, while managing indemnity and expense costs properly. Additionally, they will interact with primary and excess insurance carriers and re-insurers on files meeting reporting thresholds, and alert the Claim Manager to changes in laws that could impact Ryder's liability program. The role also includes supervising outside vendors and experts, and recommending and setting reserves to accurately reflect the probable ultimate payout.
