About The Position

Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims of moderate difficulty, taking appropriate action to achieve results that positively affect profitability. Settle claims for assigned lines of business promptly and equitably under general supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive claims investigation and settlement experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Claims or a similar organization.
• Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical subjects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze information, determine a course of action, and implement it.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
• Effective interpersonal skills for dealing with external sources and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Receive claim assignments.
• Confirm policy coverages.
• Direct acknowledgement of claims.
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims for assigned lines of business.
