About The Position

State Farm is building a pool of qualified candidates for anticipated Claim Associate openings within the next 3–6 months. Candidates may be asked to complete employment screenings before specific openings are identified and will be contacted if a suitable position becomes available.

Claim Associates help customers through the claims process while providing attentive service. This bilingual role uses an Asian language—Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Vietnamese—and involves working in a fast-paced call center environment. The position is hybrid, combining work from home with in-office collaboration. Training may require a greater share of time in the office. Hours of operation may change based on business needs, and employees must be willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, or irregular hours.

Employees must successfully complete required training, applicable proficiency and licensing examinations, and background checks required by relevant states. Candidates who have previously completed a State Farm pre-employment assessment may be asked to take additional testing.

Requirements

• Speak one of the following Asian languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Vietnamese.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask across technical platforms.

• Resourcefulness.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts and, as needed, overtime and irregular hours.
• Successfully complete required training, applicable proficiency and licensing examinations, and state-required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers in a fast-paced call center environment.
• Support customers through personalized, caring, and simple interactions during the claims process.
• Proactively investigate claims.
• Apply policy coverage.
• Accurately document claim files.
• Complete required training and applicable proficiency or licensing examinations.
