About The Position
Texas MedClinics is a growing network of urgent care clinics known for unmatched customer service and genuine compassion. These clinics provide non-critical, but urgent medical care to patients of all ages, serving as an alternative to emergency rooms or primary physicians. They operate seven days a week and are a high-performing organization with a strong culture. The Civil Surgeon Physician is responsible for providing patient care in accordance with government agency standards and regulations, including performing medical examinations for immigration benefit applicants. The role requires delivering outstanding service while fostering a compassionate and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, possesses a positive attitude, and has a strong passion for patient care.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Physician license in the state or the ability to obtain
- A minimum of four years of experience as practicing physician
- Meet requirements of USCIS
- Ability to obtain DEA licensure
- Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
