About The Position
Qualus is seeking a Remote Civil Structural Engineer to design and detail mat and pier type foundations for substation structures. This includes designing simple equipment supports to overhead line towers, with a strong emphasis on quality, project costs, client requirements, and internal quality control/assurance practices. The role offers competitive total compensation, including salary and bonuses.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent from an ABET accredited school.
- 5+ Years’ experience designing and evaluating steel structures and concrete foundations for rigid bus systems and electrical equipment.
- Ensuring structural integrity, stability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing structures for Transmission & Distribution Substations.
- Experience designing structures for Industrial & Commercial environments.
